3	Provide Name Change Proof (For individuals in the State of Karnataka and Punjab)	Submit proof supporting Name channge	(1) Sworn affidavit executed before the Notary Public/ Magistrate of First Class/ Executive Magistrate mentioning the reason for change of name and his complete address and (2) Paper publication in one local newspaper and one national newspaper.
4	Signature Verification	Ensure the signature matches the signature available in our records(In case of joint account, request must be signed by the Client in whose name, major correction is required)	Signed documents
5	Submit Documents	Send documents physically at branch / Head Office.	All documents self‑attested
6	Verification by Arihant	Documents will be verified by the Arihant as per regulatory requirements.
7	Update in Records	After successful verification, the name will be updated in the Trading & Demat account.
