Who can be a coparcener in a HUF?

A coparcener is an individual who acquires a legal right to ancestral property by birth and is a member of a Hindu Undivided Family (HUF). All children of a coparcener or Karta, regardless of gender, automatically acquire coparcenary rights. However, there are exceptions:

A married woman who joins the HUF does not obtain coparcenary rights but becomes a member of the family.

For instance, the Karta’s wife cannot be considered a coparcener.
