Why is BSE/NSE/NFO written along with the name of the scrip?
On your watchlist, NSE/BSE/NFO & CDS tags are added against a security, to make it easier for you to identify which scrip from which segment has been added by you in your watchlist. For e.g.,
- If you see Wipro NSE, then the price in the watchlist shown is of Wipro on NSE Segment
- If you see Wipro BSE, then the price in the watchlist shown is of Wipro on BSE Segment
- If you see Wipro NFO, then the Wipro security is of F&O segment of NSE.
- CDS stands for currency derivatives segment
