AMO stands for after-market order. Traditionally, the markets are open from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM IST during normal business days, during which you can trade and place your orders. AMO allows you to place your buy or sell order outside of market hours as well.

If you are placing an order after market hours, AMO will automatically be selected. In case you would like to plan to place an AMO order on Arihant Plus, go to the stock quotes page of your desired scrip. 

Step 1: Click on Buy/ Sell to open the order pad

Step 2: Enter the quantity and the price. (The market price is automatically selected, if you want to place a limit order, click on "Custom Price" and enter the price)

Step 3: Click on advanced order, and click on the check box next to AMO. 

Step 4: Click on Buy / Sell. If you have set up a review screen, you will need to confirm the order before it gets sent to the exchange.
