Under what scenario does the broker invoke my pledged shares?

You will have to continue maintaining positions in the cash:collateral ratio of 50:50. In case you do not, interest will be levied. If you fail to meet margin obligations, the broker will have the right to invoke the pledge and sell them to revoke the dues.
