Why is the money transferred through UPI not reflecting in my Arihant account?

Transferring funds using UPI to your ArihantPlus account usually happens almost instantly, and can sometimes take ~10-20 minutes. If the funds do get reflected within these timelines then it may be due to how the transfer was initiated or technical restrictions with your bank or UPI app.

When you transfer funds via UPI, always use the “Add Funds” option in the ArihantPlus app or website to avoid any delays or problems

Common reasons why UPI transfers may fail or the amount is not reflecting in your trading account:

  1. Direct transfer to UPI ID

If you initiate a UPI payment directly to Arihant’s UPI ID  from UPI app like GooglePay or PhonePe instead of using the in-app "Add Funds" option, the transaction may not be mapped to your account.

  1. UPI transfer made from unregistered bank account

UPI transfers are only allowed from bank accounts linked to your Arihant Capital trading account. Payments from other accounts will not be accepted.

  1. UPI request timeout

If you do not approve the UPI collect request within 5 minutes, the transaction will fail.

  1. Exceeded daily transaction count

Most UPI platforms have a daily limit of 35 transactions. Once this limit is crossed, further attempts will fail.

  1. Exceeded daily transfer limit

Banks generally cap daily UPI transfers at ₹2 lakhs, and may have per-transaction limits as  well.

  1. Incorrect UPI ID entered

This one is obvious, but sometimes the best of us make mistakes. So, if you entered a wrong or invalid UPI ID (VPAs), that could be reason for transaction failure.

Tips to avoid UPI transfer issues:

  • Always use the Add Funds option inside ArihantPlus for UPI transactions.
  • Use UPI apps that are reliable and linked to your registered bank account.
  • If you face repeated issues, try using a different UPI app or switch to Net Banking, IMPS, or NEFT for fund transfers.

What to do if your UPI transfer fails:

The failed transaction amount will usually be reversed back to your bank account within 24 working hours. If not, please contact your bank’s customer support for assistance.
